Alliance Residential is asking to rezone that property to Walkable Urban Code T5-5
They would like to consolidate the zoning and enable the development of a new Class-A, multifamily residential project with associated amenities.
The new zoning would allow a much higher density per acre and many more traffic issues for the neighborhood causing safety issues for students at Colter and 7th Ave.
Medlock Place Association has some questions about the egress of the residents onto 7th Avenue and the possible traffic going North that redirects drivers to go down Colter and Oregon East into Medlock Place Neighborhood instead of up to Missouri and back to Centra. Two meetings have been held so far on this project.
