7th Avenue has one of the highest density TOD    opportunities in the CITY (see above)

The MEDLOCK TOD is the lowest density but only goes to 4th Ave along Camelback

The City Council approved this project unanimously on Feb. and updates on traffic planning, design will be forthcoming.

The Medlock Board has been reviewing this project since July 2022.  If you want the full PDF I will have to send it by gmail as it is large.

This project is not attached to our historic neighborhood, but will probably generate traffic into the neighborhood.

The developers have agreed to put $25,000 in an escrow account with the City so if traffic comes into Medlock, the City can build traffic calming mini circles (round abouts) on third avenue on Colter, Oregon and Georgia.

Hopefully this will also initiate the plan to reduce traffic crossing through Pasadena and Medlock as originally proposed.

THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN REVIEWED BY THE TRAFFIC COMMITTEE

and the Medlock Board and is appropriate for this site as it is smaller  than what that Transect District would allow as per the TOD District Plan.
