The  neighborhood has advocated for as much traffic migitation as possible.

Third avenue is not only an official city-wide Sonoran Bikeway which also crosses on Colter East and West.

We have asked for Sonoran bikeway ID signs, and green walkways and bikeway barriers on 3rd Avenue.  Also we reject any of the Streets' plans to cut down trees along 3rd avenue as we have walkers coming from around the valley to walk the area because it is cooler.    We have worked on this effort for MANY years but there has been no progress.

That means cross East to West (see signs on 7th Ave)

Hopefully small traffic circles on 3rd

Allance has $25,000 in escrow to help fund neighborhood solutions from increase of apartment dwellers turnig East into neighborhood to get to restaurants.

Magnolia Apartments on 7th Ave also has pledged $25,000  for traffic mitigation from their new apartments going up in the dirt lots north of Camelback.
